‘Pogba Is So Inconsistent’- Ryan Giggs

Manchester United legend, Ryan Giggs has insisted that midfielder, Paul Pogba has been so inconsistent for the club so far this season. The Wales manager also urged Man United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to sign Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Leicester City’s James Maddison. According to Giggs, both Grealish and Maddison could unlock the door for Solskjaer’s side to succeed this season. “I don’t think he’s [Solskjaer] got the players,” Giggs told beIN Sports. “He’s probably a couple of players short in actually changing that way of playing. You know, that No.10, that focal point, and also a midfielder. “Whether Pogba is that, he’s been so inconsistent, obviously on his day he could be that player. But, they are missing a Grealish, Maddison and a player like that really that could unlock the door. “Because of the pace that we’ve got it suits the way that they play and also when you come up against good teams they like to dominate possession.” Man United will face Burnley on Wednesday night in the Premier League fixture at Old Trafford following a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool over the weekend. YOU ARE WRONG!! Angry Lampard Fires Back At Roy Keane Over Solskjaer Comments

Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, has dismissed remarks made by Manchester United legend, Roy Keane, that he avoids criticism in his job because he is English. The Blues currently sit in fourth position on the Premier League table, five points clear of the fifth-placed Red Devils. Speaking to Sky Sports after Chelsea’s 1-0 loss to Newcastle United on Saturday, Keane said: “I watched Chelsea last night, decent team, they couldn’t get the job done. “They’ve lost eight games but for some reason, Frank’s doing alright, maybe ’cause he’s English, I don’t know.” However, speaking to reporters on Monday, Lampard praised Keane for the passion in his punditry but insisted he isn’t treated differently as a manager because of his birth country. “[That comment] was the moment my ears pricked up because I don’t think being English gives you any sort of a bye from criticism. “In fact, I heard quite a lot when I first got this job of [people] writing me off because I’m young and English and only had a year at Derby. “Fair play to Roy, I love watching him talk about football because of how passionate and to the point he is, but I don’t think I’ve had any byes for being English and sometimes it feels slightly different. “I don’t need to name names. But certain people were saying you shouldn’t give...

Pep Guardiola Reveals Who Is To Blame For Harry Kane & Rashford Injuries

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has blamed football’s power brokers in England, for injuries to key players, which might threaten the Three Lions’ chances of success at Euro 2020. Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford are facing long injury lay-offs, with both facing a battle to prove their fitness ahead of this summer’s tournament. Tottenham’s Kane suffered a ruptured tendon in his hamstring which required surgery, while Manchester United forward Rashford sustained a double stress fracture at his back. Guardiola feels the Football Association and the Premier League only have themselves to blame for the injuries, because of the fixture demands on players. “I’m so sorry for Kane and Rashford, but we demand a lot from the players, it’s too much. “The players deserve to be treated as they should be, so they perform as well as possible. “It’s unsustainable. The players fall down. It’s too much. They [the authorities] should reflect on it but all the managers complained about it and they don’t care. “The players suffer. We push and push, but the body says stop, it’s enough. Of course, it’s too much to expect. “The players arrive at the Euros, playing with the national teams, trying their best, then back hereafter no more than 20 days because the business, the show must go on. “The b...

See What Arteta Said About Ozil Ahead Of Chelsea vs Arsenal

Arsenal head coach, Mikel Arteta, has claimed Mesut Ozil has been “unlucky” not to score more goals and assists during his time as Gunners boss. The 31-year-old’s attacking numbers have dipped since he signed a new three-year deal with the club. Ozil has just two assists and no goals in all competitions this term, but Arteta believes that the German’s play in the final third has been deserving of better statistics than that. “The demands that we have to put on him are to make the difference every single game,” Arteta said ahead of the Gunners’ Premier League clash with Chelsea. “To do that he needs the right structure and players around him to help him to do that. “I think he could have had more assists and probably more goals in the games he has played under me which has been a little bit unlucky but overall I think that his performance has improved a lot.” The post See What Arteta Said About Ozil Ahead Of Chelsea vs Arsenal appeared first on Naijaloaded | Nigeria's Most Visited Music & Entertainment Website.

MUST SEE! Man City Facing Fresh Calls For Champions League Ban

Manchester City are facing fresh calls for a Champions League ban, with LaLiga president, Javier Tebas, telling UEFA not to let City off the hook because their “figures do not add up.” City are under investigation, over a possible breach of Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules. Tebas is one of the most powerful figures in European football and is determined to ensure that both City and Paris Saint Germain are punished, if there is evidence they have broken strict spending rules. “I do know the Manchester City figures, where their income comes from and that figures don’t add up to a certain extent, if we take into account the market figure, so I think that some kind of penalty needs to be imposed. “One of the major issues in European football is related to [financial] doping. Obviously, with PSG we were very aware of the accusations, because we have very solid evidence of this. “In the case of Man City and the investigations that took place I’m not that aware of the circumstances of it as I’m not sure of the specificities of it. But obviously, a sanction needs to be imposed. There has been a lot of buzz about this. “I think in some cases they (UEFA) have dealt with some FFP cases in the right way and for that they should be congratulated but there are two specific cases, Manchester Ci...
